    SOWMA provides academic support and mentoring opportunities for youth impacted by homelessness.  A commitment of one hour per week tutoring and mentoring a child shows them they are important and so is their education. We provide a 2 ½hour orientation training for all new volunteer tutors and we offer on-going support for our volunteers.
