Do You Know a Caring Adult? Nominate Someone TODAY!
Do you have someone who you feel has made a difference in your life? Maybe a caring adult that has taken the time to get to know you for who you really are? Someone who has been there for you when you really needed them and has taken the time to listen? If this sounds like someone you know, please consider nominating that person for an Exceptional Mentor Award today!
The 4th Annual Mentor Recruitment Rally will soon be here! This year’s event will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 5:30pm! Once again, the Caring Adults team of Brockton’s Promise will be giving out the “Exceptional Mentor of the Year” award! However, this year we will be recognizing TWO deserving individuals, one who is recognized by a youth mentee, and one who is recognized by their peers in the Brockton community!
Mentoring includes formal relationships through a program (i.e. Big Sister Big Brother) as well as the informal relationships that happen every day (i.e. a caring neighbor, a teacher, a person at church, a friend’s parent, etc.). We ask that youth ages 24 and under submit the nomination form to recognize a Caring Adult in his or her life! For the community nomination form, any adult can nominate a colleague or friend who is an exceptional Caring Adult to youth in the Brockton community!
Youth ages 24 and under, can now submit their nominations online by clicking here! You can also print this form and return it to the address listed below.
Adults, if you know an Exceptional Mentor who serves in the Brockton community, please submit an online nomination here! You can also print this form and send it to the address below.
We ask that you return the forms no later than January 3rd, 2012 to Amanda Trask, Plymouth County DA’s Office, 32 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301; Email: amanda.trask@state.ma.us; Fax: 508-586-3578.
