Free Social Media Training Hosted By Brockton’s Promise

Brockton’s Promise and the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship would like to invite you and members of your organization to attend a FREE training on Social Media Networking for non-profits.  Over the last decade, technology has expanded community outreach by increasing communication and collaboration among organizations and the people they serve. This FREE training will be presented by Sonal Dhingra, Promotional Coordinator for the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship and Strategic Partnerships Coordinator serving at Science Club for Girls in Boston, MA.  Her work involves expanding Boston programming and creating partnerships and collaborations through social media and networking.  Science Club for Girls attributes their recent successes to Ms. Dhingra’s innovative work to increasing their web presence.

Ms. Dhingra’s two hour tutorial will address the benefits of social media, and the latest trends, values, web tools and internet sites available for increasing your organizations web presence.  We then ask that you remain for the second portion of the training, where our presenter will host a practical and hands on session.  We encourage you to bring a laptop with Internet access for the second portion of the event. If you are not currently engaged in social media, we encourage you to attend.  The research around social media alone will motivate you to kick-start your organizations presence on the web, allowing you to better reach and serve the members of the Brockton community.
