Are You Ready to Make a Difference?

The Office of Mayor Linda M. Balzotti is seeking youth leaders to join the Brockton Youth Council.  These young people work to implement change in their community by listening to the concerns of their peers and creating sustainable solutions using the resources of Mayor Linda M. Balzotti.  They are a strong group of  individuals with diverse talents, skills, backgrounds, and ages.  Together, we are working to tackle violence in the City and engage youth in building their community.

Applications are due on October 10th. The current members of the Brockton Youth Council will then hold interviews during the week of October 24th for all applicants. We invite all young people who are seeking pathways for leadership, community service, and change!

Members Receive:

• Personal and professional development
• Leadership skills development
• Opportunities for community service and community engagement
• Ownership of programming events for youth in the City of Brockton
