Thank you Peter Benson, for the legacy you have left!

On October 2^nd, 2011, Peter Benson, President of the Search Institute of Minnesota, passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer. Mr. Benson was an international leader in teaching parents and communities how to help children succeed. Through his research, he has developed several important concepts within positive youth development currently used with our Brockton young people, including the 40 Development Assets by which the Brockton’s Promise Framework is built.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of this global leader for child success, but thankful for the legacy he has left. To learn more about the 40 Development Assets, click here.
